1. Nigeria has recorded 779 new Covid-19 cases.




According to results presented by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on 27th of June 2020 Nigeria has recorded 779 new cases of COVID-19 and 4 deaths were recorded as well.

Meanwhile we now have the total number 24,077 confirmed cases, 8625 discharged case and 558 death cases.

2. Lagos COVID-19 cases exceed 10,000.

Following the result released yesterday being Saturday 27th Of June 2020, by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, it was revealed that Lagos recorded the highest number of cases among the 22 reported states.

Lagos state recorded 285 new Covid-19 cases making the number of cases in, Lagos 8,370 active cases, 1,530 discharged cases and 126 deaths in the state.

3. Nigerians were reacting concerning the deductions by Access bank, from their individual bank accounts allegedly to be stamp duty.



Many Nigerians who were using access banks, has been reacting on Twitter about the increase of deductions by Access bank, from their individual accounts in the name of stamp duty.

Some were demanding for refund of their money, While some are saying that they left Access bank long time ago because of their charges.

Many were saying that access back should not use their customers, to recover the money they donated to federal government to fight Covid-19.

4.Usarplanes intercepted four Russian reconnaissance aircraft near Alaska on Saturday, US commanders said. The Russian Tu-142's came within 65 nautical miles south of Alaska's Aleutian island chain and "loitered" in the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) for eight hours. But they stayed in international airspace and did not enter US or Canadian airspace, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said on Twitter.- Vanguard News
