Apparently, it have been more than 2 months now that the federal government had declared the closure all schools due to the covid-19 outbreak and in a bid to prevent it from spreading.
However, students have been complaining that the federal government should resume school for them.
Nevertheless, it is good to know that the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, in his briefing with the presidential task force on covid-19, stated the approval of private schools who are licensed to run foreign curriculum, especially for children of expatriates and diplomats are to resume their third term examination online
In sync with this, private schools are allowed to resume their third term syllabus through online, as Nwajiuba disclosed that if private schools can start their third term syllabus online, they are permitted to carry on, in order to finish their respective syllabus.
Meanwhile, general resumption of schools have not been announced yet. Students are advised to be studying their books while they wait for the resumption of schools.
